Drinks are part of our culture. We get drinks to network, to work, to relax, to date, to breakup. Whatever we do- we must put something liquid inside us!
But what about water? We drink so much other stuff that contains some water, but water is sometimes an afterthought.
I’m going to ask you to make water the first thought. I did that and I’m still in awe at how much it impacted nearly every thing else I do. But it makes so much sense when I break it down and think about it. Because water is a huge part of what our bodies are made of. Did you know that if you are a woman, 60% of your body weight is water?!? For men it’s a little less, at 50%.
A trainer that helped me to realized a lot of things about health got me drinking an insane amount of water and now I try to get everyone I know to do it! What he imparted on me I will now impart on you- drink half of your body weight in ounces of water, per day. Technically, ladies could up that 10%, but let’s start here, shall we?
Drinking this amount of water daily will get you to a point where your body can operate optimally. You’ll notice that you think better. You move better. You sleep better. You are less hungry, especially for things that are bad for you. It is easier to make better choices.
