Here we go again! Another New Year and more resolutions! This time we are entering a new decade! The Roaring Twenties are back and it’s time to celebrate ourselves and the future to come. Here are some tips to get into 2020 with goals set in place!
First, take a moment to reflect on this past year. You may even want to reflect on this past decade. Maybe hit that Spotify list “Best of the Decade for You!” That list may jog your memory a bit! As you reflect on what this past year held, make a list of the things that you have gratitude for and make a list of the lessons you learned. Lessons you learned also equal the things you want to change or do different! The lessons are just as important as the gratitude list. Find gratitude for what came out of those lessons!
Now, take a moment. How are 2020 and this next decade going to be different? What do you WANT this next year to bring? Write it down! Write down your heart’s desire. Don’t second guess what you want to attract, just write it down. Read this list back to yourself and tuck it away for a rainy day in a few months to see how many of those things you have accomplished! You can also alter your list anytime.
Vision Boards are a great way to SEE the picture of what you want. It also gives you a daily reminder of the goals you are working towards. Friday, January 3, we will be making vision boards at Healing Within Louisville starting at 6:30 pm.
This new year is about self-love and self-care. It’s time to focus on you! It’s time to love yourself, receive love from others, and explore the things you have put aside for so long! Step into the 20s as your best self yet!
