In this series, Talia Piccini takes us through the alphabet to define our generation’s take on what it means to be an adult. Or something like that.

- to behave in an adult manner; engage in activities associated with adulthood
- to make someone behave like an adult; turn someone into an adult
‘B’ is for Bills.
Not dolla dolla bills, y’all . No, actual bills. Like keeping your electricity on so that you can charge your new iPhone 15 and take the best selfies. Also, your rent bill, water bill, gas bill, Target card bill, Capital One bill, cable bill, student loan bill, car insurance bill, and your home insurance bill. After you pay all of your bills, you can then go the grocery store for your Easy Mac and your Kroger brand bread, because that’s all you can afford to eat. B is also for birth announcements, baby showers, and bachelorette parties. Your refrigerator is covered invitations for them, do not lie. Also, Bumble, if you’re single. #swipeleft
