“cour·age | \ ˈkər-ij: mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty”.
Courage is something that we all probably heard about heavily during the iconic film “The Wizard of Oz”. The lion in the film lacks any courage, and his heart and soul aches and shivers of fears, insecurities, and so much more. During the entire film, a viewer wishes to be able to help him, and encourage him to have the courage we all know he deserves. By the end of the film, the lion grows immense strength amongst the fear to have courage.
This film encourages and inspires me in times when having courage is not in the cards for me. Courage is a bold thing, and not always the easiest thing to do. However, when you believe in yourself anything is possible. Life is meant for these kinds of moments!
I challenge you to take times in your life that require loads of courage, and decide you are going to hold onto that. You deserve to be courageous and bold and proud. The outcome I am sure will lead to amazing and monumental moments in your life. Go ahead, prove to yourself you are the courageous lion at the end of the film rather than the beginning.
