Welcome to #TheDailyYes. The idea is simple- we are sharing some of the quotes, phrases, and pearls of wisdom that have helped us throughout the years. We have learned through experience on both sides of the fence, that a few simple words can completely change the way a person thinks about things.

Think about that: if a few simple words can completely change the way a person thinks about things then it is safe to say that person’s success, self-worth, and impact on the world can be completely attributed to the way he or she thinks about things.

You can change the way you think about things. Inspiration can come from anywhere, anytime.

I started YesLouisville.com as an outlet for myself to openly talk about my journey to become a better person. I quickly found that many of my friends, business acquaintances, and friends of friends were going on own journeys of discovery. And while everyone’s path is unique, we all share a common drive for truth and understanding.

I have learned a ton about people in general over the years and I am so grateful for those that invested their time in me. Things that were said to me years ago influence my life today at the most unexpected times. I have seen the powerful impact of how small, seemingly insignificant things can be extremely inspiring, both to close friends and complete strangers.

It is wonderfully magical. I tell people all the time that my life is run on serendipity, and the thought process of the advice we are going to share has been a large influence and map to help me get to this point.

It didn’t happen overnight. All good things take time.

Starting Friday, January 4, 2019 at 5:02 am, this new series will go live and will be posted every day following at 5:02 am. While we have many great contributors and friends of Yes, this series is my baby. I have put a lot of thought into it and I’m so pumped to share these things that have been such great gifts to me.

I’m formatting the graphic so that, if you want to, you can download it and use it as the background or lock screen on your phone. I do that and it helps to keep good words at the front of my mind. It’s also sized perfectly for IG stories, so share it! You never know who needs to hear a good message.

I also want to know what simple phrases, quotes, or other pearls of wisdom have positively impacted your life. I’m going to pick a guest contributor one day a week so that we can keep this lively from a perspective sense. Email me at hello@yeslouisville.com. I appreciate your thoughts!

Thank you for your attention! I’m grateful for you!
