I have a passion for automobiles. I love cars, trucks, engines, the design of it all.

And speed.

Or more importantly, the perception of speed.

A lot of people have a memory or a fantasy of driving really fast in an exotic sports car.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever done something dumb in a car after watching one of the Fast And The Furious Movies

The rush of adrenaline is as addictive as it is intoxicating.

Faster, Faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

But it’s not all about the numbers. And that’s where a niche subset of cars come to the rescue to offer the thrill and pedigree of a 200mph sports car but in a package that is a bit more prim and proper.

Maybe prim and proper isn’t quite right…because they are just as exotic as the super-duper supercars- loud, fun to drive, a little rough around the edges, and either unreliable as a daily driver or extra costly to maintain.

But you know what they say- people only remember how you made them feel. And these British pocket rockets from MG, Triumph, Lotus, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Morgan have so much character from body styles and parts all the way down to the engines.
