For years, the Kentucky Humane Society has been rescuing dogs, cats, and horses from around Kentuckiana, ensuring they have the opportunity for a healthy life with a loving family that all pets deserve. In 2018 alone, over 6,000 animals were saved and given that second chance.
But, the Kentucky Humane Society does WAY more than adoption. Their programs include everything from Foster Care and dog training, to free/low cost clinic services and MORE!
We sat down with Megan Decker, the Media and Public Relations Coordinator for the Kentucky Humane Society, to learn more about their history, their full array of services, and the many ways you can help them continue realizing their vision of creating a community where all companion animals are given the “care, resources, and lifelong homes they deserve.”
