What began as a graduate school design project gave birth to a social enterprise that is now impacting hundreds of lives by creating income opportunities for women to escape lives of sexual exploitation in India & at home in Louisville.
Maggie and Colleen Clines are the dynamic duo at the helm of Anchal Project, named for the edge of a sari, the garment worn by Indian women, to bring comfort to loved ones. They are passionate about using “design thinking to create employment opportunities, products & markets that support empowerment.”
We sat down with these socially conscious creatives to learn their story & see what’s next for Anchal! Listen & connect with their mission in Louisville & beyond!
