Hey there everybody! I am the newest member of the Yes Louisville team! You may have seen some of my content on the page called #SmellTheRoses! I am super excited to be fresh out of college, and have free time to enjoy and explore the city of Louisville.  These are some of my favorite places to spend my time (not obvious at all that I love food lol).

  1. Taziki’s Mediterranean Café

Taziki’s is probably one of my most frequent “quick” food choices.  It is one of my newer finds if you will, and it is so stinking fresh I cannot get enough of it.  Such a wholesome meal, you get an abundance of food for your buck, and it feels like you’re eating at home. Triple threat. Truly is such a great spot, you have to try it out if you have not thus far.

G.N.O anybody?! My go to spot for a great drink and atmosphere.  The view is absolutely incredible, and gives off a feel unlike any other bar. It is full of life, and is an automatic start for a great night full of laughs and new memories.

I am a sucker for a good, home felt Italian dish.  Anslemo’s for me, was a “hole in the wall” type of find. By that I mean, that it is pretty small, and not very publicized restaurant. However, one day my friends and I decided to give it a chance, and now I am recommending it to people all the time…because it is AMAZING.

  • Huber’s Orchard, Winery & Vineyards

Wine, wine, and lots of festive fun. What is a better combo? Huber’s is full of wine all year round, where they have vineyards, orchards, and a winery. As well as during the fall season, there is pumpkin patches, mazes, and more! I cannot wait to go back already! The wine tasting is just to die for, so fresh and unique.

I cannot get enough of smoothies, fruits, veggies, and all things good for your body. I am a health fanatic, but also love some yummy decadent filled goodies. That is why I am crazy about Lueberry. Lueberry is one of the newest and hottest spots in town. Their pitaya superfood bowl is truly incredible, so filling, and beyond colorful.  It gives me the feeling that I have had a massive treat, but does without straying from my healthy choices.  Just perfect, yum!

Yes, yes, and more YES.  Homemade pie kitchen contains ice cream, as well as homemade treats of all kinds. My favorite is their homemade cake pops, as well as their icing filled chocolate chip cookie sandwiches…okay my mouth is watering. Back to the point, bottom line is get to Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen when you NEED & WANT a dessert worth your while.

Louisville Mega Cavern is one of my most favorite things I have done in Louisville thus far. If you have never heard of it, it is an attraction featuring the caves underground in good ole’ Louisville.  Within the caves, you get to zip line and gaze the amazing and intriguing views. Another favorite part of the Cavern for me, is during the holiday season they clear out the cave, and set up a light show filled with songs, holiday spirit, Christmas lights, and more.  Both activities are a must, no questions asked.
