World’s Largest Halloween Party at the Louisville Zoo: Scary isn’t fun for everyone, so if you’re looking for a “delightful, not frightful” experience for all ages, come out to the Louisville Zoo for the annual World’s Largest Halloween Party! Trick or Treat, take photos with characters, wander through the hay maze, ride the Boo Choo-Choo Train, & maybe see the Headless Horseman! Trick or Treat is for ages 11 & under.
Halloween on Hillcrest Avenue: We LOVE when neighbors unite to bring their street to life for the holidays! Hillcrest Avenue pulls out all the stops on Halloween & creates a devilishly good display that is FREE to the public. You can simply drive by, or park & walk the street to really appreciate the details in each chilling scene! Rain or shine, the zombies will be fine!
Baxter Avenue Morgue: Not for the faint of heart, the Baxter Avenue Morgue is one of the most original theatrical-based attractions in the area. Prepare to be shaken to your core as you come face-to-face with truly terrifying sights! Not recommended for children under age 12.
Waverly Hills Sanatorium: Known as one of the most haunted places in the world, Waverly Hills is reserved for the most daring thrill seekers of the season. Once a school, turned hospital for Tuberculosis patients in the early 1900s many souls died within its walls. Untold terror awaits you…if you dare take the tour.
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: Bring the whole family out to Iroquois Amphitheater to experience the 5’000 illuminated pumpkins lining the 1/4 mile trail behind the amphitheater. This is the 6th year that Passion for Pumpkins has hosted the Spectacular in The Ville…& it’s their best year yet with the exciting theme, A Night in the Library!

Dracula at Actor’s Theater: He’s thirsty…& he’s coming for you!
