1 The Tens & Pipeline at Actor's Theatre

2 After Hours at the Speed

Join us for more MUSIC, DRINKS, and ART at After Hours at the Speed! January's event sponsored by Slane Whiskey!

On the third Friday of the month, the Museum will be open until 10PM! Each After Hours event comes alive with an eclectic mix of music, performances, food + drinks by Wiltshire at The Speed Art Museum, and of course art! After Hours includes programming designed for families from 5-7PM, all ages welcome! Come experience the Speed like you’ve never experienced it before.

5PM: Special promotional opportunities from Do502

5:30-6:00PM: WUOL, NouLou Chamber Players perform works by Erwin Schulhoff and Sergei Prokofiev. A Czechoslovakian Jewish composer targeted by the Nazis for producing "entartete musik" (degenerate music), Schulhoff's life was tragically cut short in 1942, when he contracted tuberculosis in Wülzburg concentration camp.

5-7PM: Jecorey Arthur will present his family program, Classical Corner, featuring hands-on orchestra conducting with the Allie Summers Quartet, a drum circle with DrumSmart LLC, and an instrument petting zoo. 6PM: An in-gallery talk with curator Miranda Lash and 89.3 WFPL News Louisville's Ashlie Stevens on "Keltie Ferris: *O*P*E*N*"
